SPARK!

Discovery Center’s SPARK! program is for children ages 1-6 and their caregivers to enjoy socially distanced hands-on exploratory STEAM learning and play. Enjoy music and motion, stories, yoga stretches, and guided activities with Discovery Center staff! More info & Reserve tickets»

COVID-19: Our SPARK! sessions currently take place while the museum is closed to the public, giving participants exclusive access to Discovery Center and a safe, socially distanced experience.


Artist in Residence

March 11- May 27  |  Thursdays at 10 a.m.

Calling creatives of ALL ages! Finding new ways to stay creative can be a challenge. Join us each Thursday at 10 a.m. as Discovery Center’s Artist in Residence, Kelsey, teaches us about finding new ways to unleash and utilize our creative muscles. Each week we will dive into different techniques and skills using printmaking with a special focus on creativity. Activities vary weekly and may include some outdoor exploration, inspiration gathering, and creating indoors in The Studio. Included with admission. More info»

Visit us Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to see our Artist in Residence during her open studio hours. You’ll find her outdoors or in The Studio. Included with admission.


Mind Blowing Matinee: Spring Science

Wednesday – Saturday | 10 a.m. & 2 p.m.

Spring is here, and there’s no better time to explore and learn! Stop by the Discovery Center and join in on exciting food/garden-based activities presented by GrowingGreat. Weekend in the Wetlands

Snack Attack

Create easy, healthy snacks with our staff! Participate in the cooking (and eating!) process as you explore healthy cooking from around the world. Recipes and nutritional information available to take home. Appropriate for ages 3 & up.
