Mind-Blowing Matinee

Tuesday – Friday, 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. How cold is liquid nitrogen? What is visible light? Do reptiles lay eggs? Join Discovery Center staff as we explore the amazing world of science through hands-on experiments and demonstrations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Three-Dollar Thursdays

Thursdays in June and July – 4-7 p.m.

Join us for ‘Three-Dollar Thursdays’ at the Discovery Center this summer! We will be staying open late to give members of the community the opportunity to see all of the new exhibits and additions we have made throughout the year at a discounted admission rate: only $3!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 

Member Mondays at the Discovery Center

 

 

 

 

Mondays in June and July, 9 – 10 a.m.  Join us at the Discovery Center early on Monday mornings, exclusively open to our patrons with active memberships. Members will have the opportunity to have the museum to themselves to explore our new exhibits before we open our doors to the public.

 

 

 

 

 

 


SNACK ATTACK

Mondays – 3:30 p.m. Create easy, healthy snacks with our staff! Participate in the cooking (and eating!) process as you explore healthy cooking from around the world. Recipes and nutritional information available to take home. Appropriate for ages 3 & up.

Mondays & Tuesdays at 9 a.m. Looking for enrichment opportunities for you and your child? Discovery Center’s SPARK – STEAM Play Achieves Real Knowledge– is for children ages 1-6 and their caregivers!

We will be resuming SPARK programming August 20 & 21 with focus on water quality month.

Sibshops are a celebration of the many lifelong contributions made by brothers and sisters of people with special health and developmental needs. Children will engage in fun-filled activities, games, and talk about the good and not-so-good parts of having a sibling with special needs. For siblings ages 8-13.
