Are you a librarian or out-of-school-time provider?

Do you like to provide activities to PreK-5th grade children and also to families that combine literacy and STEM? If so – please add your name to our “interested” list here so that we can notify you of upcoming workshops – virtual and/or in-person - for this fall. Free resources available. Workshop examples include:

Leap into Science: Tennessee is one of twenty states to participate in the Leap into Science network initiative. Leap into Science is a nationwide program that integrates open-ended science activities with children’s books, designed for children ages 3-10 and their families. The program empowers educators to offer programs in community settings like libraries, museums, early childhood and out-of-school time programs in accessible and familiar settings, with priority given to those serving underserved audiences. Tennessee leadership team organizations include Discovery Center at Murfree Spring, the Tennessee Afterschool Network, and United Ways of Tennessee. The initiative is led by The Franklin Institute, and the National Girls Collaborative Project, with support from the National Science Foundation.
