Join us in Creation Station for a selection of projects celebrating the many contributions to science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) by women such as computer scientist Margaret Hamilton, artist Grandma Moses, chemist and X-ray crystallographer Rosalind Franklin and astronomer Caroline Herschel. When school is out, camp is in! CAMPOLOGY at the Discovery Center incorporates fun, hands-on, inquiry-based learning into all of our camps. Parents’ Night Out

Earth Day activities

Come spend Earth Day at the wetlands! Guests can participate in Earth science experiments happening at Science a la Cart, take a walking tour of the Murfree Spring wetlands, and even meet some animals native to Tennessee. Included with admission, free for members.


Arts in April (free day)

Join us as we celebrate Arts in April! Through music, dance, and art, children and their families will experience different cultures presented by local and regional talent. Arts in April will also be a celebration of our Spring Artist in Residence Program. Don’t miss this night of fun and revelry dedicated to highlighting local craft brewers, Discovery Center, Murfreesboro Little Theater, M-Prov, and Inebriated Shakespeare. When school is out, camp is in! CAMPOLOGY at the Discovery Center incorporates fun, hands-on, inquiry-based learning into all of our camps. Campers are divided into different age groups – each with their own Camp Counselor and age-appropriate lessons packed with hands-on games and activities designed to help campers learn, socialize, and have fun!
