In The Studio: Creativity & Printmaking

Calling creatives of ALL ages! Finding new ways to stay creative can be a challenge. Join us each Thursday at 10 a.m. as Discovery Center’s Artist in Residence, Kelsey, teaches us about finding new ways to unleash and utilize our creative muscles. Each week we will dive into different techniques and skills using printmaking with a special focus on creativity. Activities vary weekly and may include some outdoor exploration, inspiration gathering, and creating indoors in The Studio 615. Included with admission. More Info»

Arts in April

Sunday, April 25  |  9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Arts in April is a free admission annual event at Discovery Center that celebrates the diversity of Tennessee through performing and visual arts. This event allows visitors young and old to experience the arts through the cultural lens of local artists who share their unique heritage with performances and hands-on activities. Performances and activities invite meaningful participation and engage all audiences in community life and multicultural arts, regardless of age, income, background, or ability. Free and open to the public. Limited capacity on a first-come, first-served basis.

Secret Garden Tea Party

Secret Garden is one of the highlights of the summer social season in Middle Tennessee. The series of events—which allows participants to get sneak peeks at beautiful gardens hidden in backyards or behind walls or fences in and around Murfreesboro—also serves as a major fundraiser for the Discovery Center.  More Info»
