Special Activities Commemorating Black History Month

Join us in Creation Station for a selection of projects including: rocket activities celebrating Katherine Johnson, mathematician whose calculations of orbital mechanics as a NASA employee were critical to the success of the first and subsequent U.S. manned spaceflights; LED light circuit building celebrating Garrett Morgan, inventor of the traffic signal; and much more! More info»

 

Wine & Whiskey at the Wetlands (21+)

Our 6th annual fine wine & whiskey event features 150+ exceptional local and crafted wines, fine whiskeys, and spirits provided by Stones River Total Beverages. Must be 21 or older to attend. Proceeds benefit the Discovery Center. Purchase tickets»

 

All Access Night

Join us for an evening tailored to special-needs families so everyone can enjoy the Discovery Center’s exhibits, free of charge. Reservations for this program are suggested but not required. Info & registration»

 

Parents’ Night Out

Friday, March 15  |  5:30 – 9:30 p.m.

Don’t hire a sitter; drop the kids off with us at the Discovery Center for a movie night! We’ll also have dinner, museum exploration time, fun educational games and more. For children ages 4 – 12. $20 first child, $15 each additional child. Info & registration»

When school is out, camp is in! CAMPOLOGY at the Discovery Center incorporates fun, hands-on, inquiry-based learning into all of our camps. Summer Camp

When school is out, camp is in! CAMPOLOGY at the Discovery Center incorporates fun, hands-on, inquiry-based learning into all of our camps. Campers are divided into different age groups – each with their own Camp Counselor and age-appropriate lessons packed with hands-on games and activities designed to help campers learn, socialize, and have fun!
