Chinese New Year Celebration (Free Day)

Join us at Discovery Center for our annual Chinese New Year free day! Learn, experience, and participate in the traditions of the Lunar New Year, as we celebrate the Year of the Ox and explore Chinese culture and arts. Sponsored by the Nissan Foundation and in partnership with the Chinese Arts Alliance of Nashville (CAAN). Choose one of three available ticketed timed blocks, and join us as Discovery Center for hands-on activities and virtual exploration!

Free and open to the public.

Please note: Due to capacity limitations related to the COVID pandemic, we are offering multiple time slots for visitors to choose from on a first-come, first-served basis of up to 100 people. Available time blocks: 9 to 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and 2 to 4 p.m. To connect virtually at home to events provided by the Chinese Arts Alliance Nashville, utilize any of the provided links in the schedule below to register.
